Worcester University Competition

The architect of the new Worcester University campus on the site of the former Royal Infirmary was decided by a design competition.

Glenda Fraser, project leader at ADP Birmingham required a massing model of the overall site as well as half-detailed monochrome detail of the proposed buildings. In addition to the model, three exterior perspectives produced by Idrawfast were submitted. Other competition entries included those from Alsop, Broadway Malyan and Business Design Partnership.

When the BBC offered website visitors the opportunity to vote for their favourite scheme, ADP was well supported and attracted a good share of the vote.

Murdeira Beach Resort

Cork based developer Tom Sheehy briefed Idrawfast on his exciting new scheme in the Cape Verde islands, off the West Coast of Africa. The development promises to deliver the highest standard of facilities and accommodation on the Island of Sal. With over 500 units scheduled for construction on the nearly 30 hectare site, the resort will also have a 75 berth marina, extensive sporting facilities, commercial space, a boat house with a diving centre and a variety of bars and restaurants.

Idrawfast delivered a development offer that included a range of hand-drawn perspectives, a 1:1000 physical model and a three minute animation. With all this marketing material the roadshow to launch the scheme was bound to do well. An update about further developments in Cape Verde will follow soon.
